Frank C. Sluzis joined the Firm in August of 2007. Attorney Sluzis was admitted to practice law in 1984 and has over twenty years of legal experience in the areas of criminal defense, family law, workers' compensation and liquor license among other areas of law.

As a criminal defense attorney, Attorney Sluzis has taken over 100 criminal cases to trial including several homicide cases. Attorney Sluzis has developed an extensive criminal defense practice ranging from cases involving homicide, sex and drug offenses to white collar crime in state and federal courts throughout Pennsylvania.

Attorney Sluzis is also a former Divorce Master of Dauphin County and Divorce and Support Court Master in Schuylkill County. In this capacity, Attorney Sluzis presided over many divorce and support cases and issued recommended rulings to the presiding judge on all aspects of litigated divorce cases including equitable distribution and alimony. His years as Divorce and Support Court Master have provided Attorney Sluzis with invaluable experience that he uses today representing clients in divorce, support and custody cases.

Attorney Sluzis is the past Regional Counsel to the Pennsylvania Bureau of Workers' Compensation. In this position, Attorney Sluzis advised Administrative Law Judges (ALJ), who preside over workers' compensation hearings and decide the cases. Attorney Sluzis advised ALJs on the substantive and procedural laws involved in handling and determining a workers' compensation claim. As a result, Attorney Sluzis has developed extensive knowledge of how the Bureau of Workers' Compensation works and how to present cases on behalf of injured workers before the Workers' Compensation Board. As such, Attorney Sluzis is very well positioned to represent injured workers with their workers' compensation claims.

Attorney Sluzis is the former Chief Prosecutor of the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) Nuisance Bar program and former Assistant Counsel to the PLCB. During his years with the PLCB, Attorney Sluzis developed extensive experience in handling cases involving liquor license non-renewals for nuisance bar matters and citation, enforcement and forfeiture matters. Upon leaving the PLBC, Attorney Sluzis has developed an extensive private practice representing liquor licensees in the above-described areas before the PLCB and in the areas of liquor license law including the purchase, sale, renewal and determination of the value of liquor licenses and in the more general areas of concern for liquor licensees including employment law, commercial and civil litigation.

Attorney Sluzis has also developed an extensive municipal law practice.
