Erin ZimmererAssociate Attorney
Erin Zimmerer, Esquire, has been practicing criminal defense law since 2003. She has represented
individuals charged with all major and minor offenses and has handled
over 20 jury trials in state and federal court.
Attorney Zimmerer started her law practice more than a decade ago as a law clerk to the Lancaster County Court of Common Pleas, where she developed extensive knowledge and experience including how the judges consider pre-trial motions, pleas and sentencing among other factors. This experience proved invaluable as Attorney Zimmerer built her private criminal defense practice focusing mainly in Lancaster and Lebanon counties, but which has also expanded to include over 21 counties in Central Pennsylvania.
Practicing in both state and federal courts, she has represented individuals charged with all major crimes, including assault, robbery, burglary, DUI, all theft offenses, firearms and sex offenses. Importantly, Attorney Zimmerer has also handled complex, high-level drug trafficking and gang-related cases brought by the government under the RICO statute. Attorney Zimmerer has gained a wealth of experience representing individuals charged with drug delivery and trafficking including but not limited to methamphetamine, cocaine, crack and heroin.
Additionally, Attorney Zimmerer has spent years handling Post Conviction Relief Act (PCRA) cases in addition to her regular criminal defense practice. Handling PCRA cases required Attorney Zimmerer to make detailed examinations and analyses of the hundreds of criminal cases that resulted in convictions. This work provided Attorney Zimmerer with a wealth of experience in trial tactics and techniques she then employs to the benefit of her private criminal defense clients.
Attorney Zimmerer is ready, willing and able to bring her extensive experience and skill in handling some of the toughest and most complicated criminal cases to your defense. Attorney Zimmerer treats every case, no matter how heavy or light the charge, as a major case and provides her clients with the attention and zealous representation they deserve.
