His Honor, Attorney Jeffrey R. Schott, who has been with Scaringi Law since 2020, has also been serving on the Jonestown Borough Council, where he fought against Covid restrictions, reckless spending on unaffordable projects, lack of transparency with Council and residents, and HOA style restrictions on homeowners. He authored an update to the Borough’s firearms ordinance to affirm rights to defend oneself, others, and property. On November 4, 2025, voters gave Schott, along with a slate of like-minded new Council candidates, victories and a mandate for a more conservative, responsible, and transparent local government.
