Senior Associate Attorney

Attorney Keith E. Kendall served clients at Scaring Law from 2010 to 2021, and then rejoined Scaringi Law in 2023 as a Senior Associate Attorney. Attorney Kendall has over 37 years of legal experience. He focuses his practice in the areas of employment law, criminal defense, and all areas of family law (divorce, support, custody, relocation, and protection from abuse).

Attorney Kendall has represented family law clients in all counties throughout Central Pennsylvania at every aspect of the case including Support Conferences, De Novo Hearings for support and alimony pendente lite, Divorce Master’s Hearings, equitable distribution negotiations and settlements, and every type of special relief hearing and appeals. Attorney Kendall has developed a reputation as a vigorous family law advocate who is always looking to protect his client’s interest and achieve the best deal possible. If settlement negotiations are not fruitful, Attorney Kendall is more than ready, willing, and able to take the case to court.

Attorney Kendall has over 30 years of experience representing individuals charged with every level and type of crime from DUIs to high-level Felony cases in courts throughout Central Pennsylvania. Attorney Kendall is a zealous advocate who vigorously defends his clients and challenges the prosecution’s case while always looking for opportunities to secure the best settlement possible if that is in the best interest of his client. Prior to representing defendants, Attorney Kendall served as an Assistant District Attorney. During his years as an Assistant District Attorney, Attorney Kendall worked with police officers, investigators, and witnesses and prosecuted hundreds of criminal cases. This experience provided Attorney Kendall with the skills he now uses as a criminal defense attorney. Attorney Kendall uses those skills to determine the flaws in the prosecution’s case and turn prosecutorial weaknesses into strengths for the defense. Before he arrived at Scaringi Law in 2010, Mr. Kendall spent sixteen years as a solo practitioner representing individual employees, unions, and employers in private and public employment matters including claims for unemployment compensation, negotiating, drafting, and litigation of executive employment contracts, civil service disputes, state and federal litigation of claims of discrimination, Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) claims, Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) claims, Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) claims and Older Workers Benefit Protection Act claims. During this time, Attorney Kendall developed particular expertise in federal employment law, which is a highly particularized area. Attorney Kendall has extensive experience dealing with diversified private and public employment issues, and a reputation for creating trust and relationship building in providing effective assistance to the negotiation and resolution of complex workplace disputes.

Prior to that Attorney Kendall practiced in small firms, including now Mifflin County President Judge Timothy S. Searer's private law office, the Mifflin County District Attorney’s office as an Assistant District Attorney, the Pennsylvania State Police, and legal services.

Attorney Kendall has a proven track record of successful, effective and creative representation of individuals and entities in virtually all areas of the law – most notably in family law, criminal defense and employment and labor law.
