Attorney Anthony E. “Tony” Miley joined Scaringi Law in January 2017 as an Associate Attorney practicing criminal defense, family law and civil litigation among other major practice areas. Attorney Miley is based in our York and Gettysburg Offices. Attorney Miley has nearly 30 years of legal experience. Attorney Miley came to our firm after operating his own solo law practice for three years. Prior to that, Attorney Miley spent four years in the Assistant Public Defendant at the Franklin County Public Defender’s Office and fifteen years in the Adams County Public Defender’s Office.
Attorney Miley has extensive experience handling every type of criminal case from Misdemeanor to Felony, including homicide, sex offense, drug offense, DUIs and many high-profile cases such as the Walter Mark Smith 1st degree murder case in Adams County, a sexual assault against a juvenile case in which Attorney Miley secured not guilty verdicts on all counts in Adams County and Kidnapping, aggravated assault case in which Attorney Miley’s client was found not guilty of all charges. Attorney Miley has handled over 150 jury trials and over 20 non-jury trials. Attorney Miley was named one of the top ten Best DUI Defense Attorneys for 2016. Attorney Miley is a charter member of the American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys.
In his solo practice, Attorney Miley developed experience in all aspects of family law including divorce, custody, child and spousal support and PFAs. Attorney Miley also handles civil litigation, including abuse of Power of Attorney, used to embezzle property and money from the elderly. Attorney Miley also represents Landlords in Landlord Tenant cases.
Attorney Miley resides in New Oxford, Adams County, Pennsylvania with his wife.
